Hamilton Point Welcomes Martha Ford to the Firm

Hamilton Point welcomes Martha Ford to our team as the Operations Manager.m Martha has a B.S. in Business Management from Gardner-Webb University and brings over 25 years of brokerage and financial services experience to our firm.

Rick Woods, Chief Operating Officer, commented, "We are excited to have someone of Martha's caliber join our team. We expect her to be a valuable addition with her extensive operational and client service experience. Her addition helps ensure that as the firm continues to grow, we will maintain our high level of personalized client service."

Prior to joining Hamilton Point, Martha served for six years as a Registered Sales Associate at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, servicing high net-worth individuals and supporting three client advisors with over $200M in assets under management. She passed the FINRA Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law exam) while working at Deutsche Bank.

Martha began her 22 year career at Wachovia in the Personal Trust department and moved on to the Funds Management group for three years before landing in the Bond Department/Capital Markets. There, she spent the majority of her tenure as an Investment Portfolio Liaison/Product Manager working with nearly 300 downstream correspondent financial institutions, providing regulatory reporting, accounting and analysis of the institutional bond portfolios to the correspondents. Ford passed the NASD Series 7 (General Securities Registered Representative License) and the Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam). She also served on the SunGard User Advisory Committee for four years.

Ms. Ford enjoys reading, playing handbells, golf and weekends in the mountains.
